The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office recently participated in the ‘We Care ATV Ride’ starting from Park Ridge Sub-Division just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. 29 ATV’s rolled off for a ride that encompassed both Franklin and Floyd County. Captain Duane Amos said, “The Office of The Sheriff proudly supports and participates in this event each year. This event raised $465 for the We Care of Franklin County.” We Care is a non-profit organization in Franklin County focusing on helping needy families. There will be a fall event later this year.
