The Newport News Sheriff’s Office welcomes the Virginia Sheriffs’ Association Annual Conference to the City of Newport News. The four-day event will be held at the Marriott at City Center beginning Sunday, September 19, with the President’s Reception and concluding the morning of Wednesday, September 22.
Sheriff Gabe Morgan says this is a tremendous honor to host the Annual Conference. “This is a time for the City of Newport News to shine. We have a beautiful conference center in the Marriott. Its City Center location will meet all the needs of attendees from across the state. I am especially proud of my men and women who will play a front and center role in the success of the conference.”

Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli is scheduled to speak Monday, September 20 following opening remarks from Mayor McKinley L. Price.
