Sheriffs to shroud badges in remembrance of Baton Rouge officers

The Virginia Sheriffs’ Institute recommends that all sheriffs and deputies shroud their badges in remembrance of the East Baton Rouge Parish sheriff’s deputy and 2 Baton Rouge police officers killed today through the day of the last funeral. Three other officers were wounded. Our hearts go out to their loved ones and everyone at the Baton Rouge Police Department and Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office. We pray for peace and safety for our deputies, our community and all our brothers and sisters in blue who risk their lives each day.
