Sheriff Karl Leonard was one of the many celebrity servers for the Fourteenth Annual CARITAS Celebrity Serve Dinner at Siné Irish Pub & Restaurant in Richmond. This is a fundraising event in which local celebrities and dignitaries volunteer their time to act as wait staff, all in the spirit of supporting a great cause. The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office has a continued partnership with The Healing Place, a 214-bed residential recovery facility that provides a pathway to recovery for individuals struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. The Healing Place is a part of the CARITAS organization, and the Chesterfield County Jail has enrolled several members of its HARP program in this facility.
