FRANKLIN COUNTY SHERIFF ANNOUNCES ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARADE

Sheriff Bill Overton and wife, Nancy, announced the Annual Franklin County Christmas Parade on December 2, 2018.  Both have announced the parade on Cable 12 for many, many years. “Nancy and I love the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful community tradition. We love this county and cherish being involved in these type events,” Overton said. It was a great parade. Way to go Franklin County!

DEPUTIES HELP FILL THE COOL BUS

On December 3, 2018,  the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office partnered with TNT Autobody and Walmart to “FILL THE COOL BUS.”  All this is a part of Sheriff Overton’s Operation Christmas Tree. The event collected over $1400 in cash and a bus full of toys and food. This will culminate on 12/20 as the Sheriff’s Office will gift many Franklin County families with meals, children’s clothing and toys. Thanks to all that produced this event and all who gave.
