The Richmond City Sheriff’s Office partnered with the Saint Paul’s Baptist Church and Assisting Families of Inmates (AFOI) on Friday, December 14 at Woodville Elementary School.
This event, “No Child without a Toy” helps to ensure each child of the AFOI mentoring program, “Milk and Cookies,” have a toy during the holiday season. This program specializes in the needs of children with incarcerated parents.
The children enjoyed face painting, decorating ornaments and the toy distribution.
The Milk and Cookies program is currently active in several Richmond City elementary schools, including Woodville, Chimborazo, and Swansboro.
