Sheriff Joe McLaughlin was proud to present Ms. Debra Carroll with a Virginia Sheriffs’ Institute Scholarship this afternoon at the Sheriff’s Office. Ms. Carroll received a $1,000 scholarship which will allow her to continue working toward her Criminal Justice related Masters at Liberty University. Congratulations Ms. Debra Carroll on receiving this scholarship. Sheriff McLaughlin and Ms. Carroll want to say thank you to the Virginia Sheriffs’ Institute and to all of those who generously donate to the VSI to allow worthy students to receive scholarships of this type.
