FRANKLIN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE WITH RELAY FOR LIFE

Friday, August 9th, Relay For Life Event was held at the Franklin County Recreation Park on Sontag Road. This event was rescheduled from June due to rain. The Office of the Sheriff had a table display and were involved in activities.

Cancer survivors walked a designated track layout throughout the evening and at dusk, the Luminary Walk took place. Bags with candles were lit representing those loved ones who had passed because of cancer’s effects.

Thanks to all who organized and joined in to support Relay For Life

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT EVENT DRAWS LARGE CROWD

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office held its National Night Out Event this past Tuesday in Westlake.

Franklin County residents from all over the county were in attendance. Around 500 people enjoyed all the displays, demonstrations, exhibitions, food, bounce houses and more.

“This county continues to impress when supporting our law enforcement, public safety and other agencies who offer our residents items and information of helpful intent,” Sheriff Bill Overton said Tuesday night. “We are so thankful.”
Thanks Franklin County for your support!
