Hampton Sheriff’s Office Participates in Law and Public Safety Career Fair
Sheriff Bowden and the Hampton Sheriff’s Office partnered with the Junior Commonwealth’s Attorney Program for their Law and Public Safety College and Career Fair. The event provided students exposure to professionals in the criminal justice field. The Hampton Sheriff’s Office staff provided the students with the responsibilities and duties of the Sheriff deputies. The Hampton Sheriff’s Office staff also provided information on requirements to become a deputy or a civilian staff. The JRCAP is comprised of students from 6th – 10th grades who have an interest in pursuing a career in criminal justice.
