May 14, 2024 – Sheriff Vanessa Crawford has been honored with the prestigious International Awareness Award by the Petersburg Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Since 1921, local chapters have been observing May Week to emphasize the importance of higher education in the community, particularly for black women.
