The Hampton Sheriff’s Office sponsored its 16th Annual Hampton Senior Celebration to celebrate Older Americans Month. The event was initiated by Sheriff Karen Bowden and held at Queen Street North Worship Center. There were approximately 200 seniors, several elected officials, Firefighters, and Police Officers in attendance. Attendees received a complimentary lunch served by the Sheriff’s Office staff and members of the Hampton TRIAD. Safety bags were gifted to each senior in attendance which included information from Centerwell, Humana, Peninsula Agency on Aging, and Altmeyer Funeral Home.
