With Holiday shopping season upon us, the Charles City County Sheriff’s Office felt that this would be the perfect time to hold its first Women’s Self Defense class. On November 18, 2024, participants learned situational awareness, dos and don’ts during holiday shopping season, and were given demonstrations of technics to use in the event of an attack. We thank everyone who came out and participated. Also, thank you to our Auxiliary Lt., Kenton Givens, for instructing the class. Look for similar classes such as these in the near future.
