Supporting Virginia’s Sheriffs & Deputies

On December 10, 2024, Deputy Chey Keller proudly graduated from the Crater Criminal Justice Academy’s 113th Basic Jailors School. This program provides essential training for new deputies and officers, equipping them with the fundamental skills needed for jail operations and the application of law. Deputy Keller was also honored to be elected as the class Chaplain, highlighting his commitment to service and support.

During the Basic Jailors Academy, students participate in both classroom instruction and hands-on training, covering important topics such as firearms, non-lethal weapons applications, defensive tactics, and First Aid/CPR/AED. Deputy Keller’s achievement marks a significant milestone in his law enforcement journey, and we are excited to see the impact he will make in his community.

Congratulations, Deputy Keller! We wish you the very best as you embark on this important path, dedicated to upholding the law and serving others.
