Deputy Tre Clark of the Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office took part in the Donut Derby (high heel race) on Friday, April 11th, in honor of Victims’ Rights Week. This event highlights the ongoing challenges faced by victims of crime and raises awareness of their rights and the importance of support during the justice process. The race was a great success, bringing attention to this important cause while having fun. Sheriff Moore jokingly stated that Deputy Clark is not allowed to wear those shoes on patrol.
