Supporting Virginia’s Sheriffs & Deputies

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office recently enjoyed meaningful moments of connection with students and community members alike.

At John Battle High School, creativity was on full display as one talented student captured the likeness of Sgt. Danser in a striking piece of artwork.

Meanwhile, deputies were honored at a special Law Enforcement Appreciation Luncheon hosted by E.B. Stanley Middle School. The thoughtful event included a delicious meal and heartfelt recognition from students and staff, reminding the Sheriff’s Office of the deep support they receive from the community they serve.

The sheriff’s office also reminds residents to participate in Drug Take Back Day on Friday, April 26, an opportunity to safely dispose of unused or expired medications.
