Sheriff Edds and the Scott County Sheriff’s Office participated in Kids Fishing Day at Natural Tunnel State Park in Southwest Virginia on Saturday, May 10. The event, held in partnership with the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources and Virginia State Parks, promoted healthy outdoor activities and provided an opportunity to educate kids about fishing and conservation.
Children from the community enjoyed quality time with officers from all participating agencies. Dozens of prizes were raffled off, including new fishing poles and tackle boxes. It was a great turnout, and plenty of fish were caught!
