The Hampton Sheriff’s Office recently partnered with the Hampton Family YMCA’s Bright Beginnings program. Bright Beginnings is a program that presents children with the confidence and readiness for the school year. This year, 60 students and 40 volunteers participated in the program. Each student was given a limit of $200 to spend on clothes, shoes, and other apparel. Deputies and staff were paired with a child and assisted them with shopping for upcoming school year.
