The Petersburg Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Petersburg Bureau of Police, the Petersburg Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, Coach Ty White and his organization, “Team Loaded” and local faith-based organizations, proudly hosted the 4th Annual Faith & Blue event at the Petersburg Sports Complex last weekend.
The event brought together families, clergy, first responders and the entire community for a day of unity, trust building, and community fun. Highlights included train and fire truck rides, a helicopter tour, inflatables, a
mechanical bull, an aerialist and a game truck, along with food, music, singing, dancing and fellowship for all ages.
“Faith & Blue is about strengthening relationships between law enforcement and the communities we serve through understanding, respect, and shared experiences,” said Sheriff Vanessa R. Crawford. “It’s always
inspiring to see our residents, faith leaders, and public safety partners come together in the spirit of unity and hope.”
The Faith & Blue Weekend is part of a national movement that encourages collaboration between law enforcement and faith-based communities to foster safer, stronger neighborhoods. Petersburg’s continued participation reflects the city’s commitment to community engagement, trust, and service.
