The Sheriff’s Office recently coordinated the cleanup of graffiti on a local residence after receiving concerns from community members. Under the direction of the Sheriff, Lt. Maddox secured the necessary permissions and ensured the proper legal steps were followed before work began. The Sheriff’s Office extends its sincere thanks to Blue Thumb Pressure Cleaning for volunteering time and resources to help complete the project. Their willingness to step in demonstrates the power of community partnership. The Sheriff’s Office also appreciates the residents who reported the issue and continue to support efforts to keep Bedford County safe and welcoming.
For the sixth consecutive year, the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office partnered with Bedford County Social Services, local businesses, and community members to provide Thanksgiving meals to families in need. Thanks to generous financial support and food donations, volunteers delivered approximately 110 meals across the county last week. This annual effort continues to bring comfort, connection, and a sense of community to Bedford families during the holiday season.
