This month, Sheriff José Quiroz hosted the Arlington County Sheriff’s Office Holiday Roll Calls, an annual tradition that honors the achievements, milestones, and exceptional service of our staff throughout the year. During the ceremonies, Sheriff Quiroz recognized the many promotions and awards earned in 2025, as well as the dedicated employees celebrating years of service.
A special acknowledgement goes to Ms. Howard, marking an incredible 30 years of service in our Records Section. We also proudly honored Major Burgess, Lieutenant Myers, and Ms. Viteri-Reeder for reaching 25 years of committed service. Their dedication to public service and to the Sheriff’s Office exemplifies the professionalism and heart of our workforce. Several additional staff members were celebrated for reaching 15-, 10-, and 5-year milestone anniversaries.
