The Richmond City Sheriff’s Office hosted its 9th Annual Day of Grace, Hope & Faith on Thursday, January 1, 2026. People of all faiths joined us for this meaningful gathering as we lifted words of inspiration and prayer for the leaders of our nation, our commonwealth, and our city. We also took the time to uplift the dedicated staff of the Richmond City Sheriff’s Office, the residents housed in our facility, and the many families and communities impacted by our work.
This annual observance provided an opportunity to begin the new year grounded in unity, reflection, and hope, while reaffirming our shared commitment to service, dignity, and compassion.
