Each year, the Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office supports the Culpeper Night to Shine hosted by Open Door Baptist Church. Night to Shine is a global event celebrating individuals with special needs. Several of our Star Cadets attended events in Culpeper and Fredericksburg. It’s always great to see them celebrated the way they deserve!
One of our Star Cadets got the full princess treatment. Deputy Breckley and her boutique La Princesa, generously donated her dress, Brotherhood on Wheels gifted her shoes, and her hair and makeup were done by Courtney Adair and Amanda.
Incredible members of our community that go the extra mile to not only reach, but also celebrate underserved populations are what make Culpeper such an awesome place to serve.
Night to Shine reminds us that public safety is about more than enforcement. It’s about service, compassion, and standing beside our community in moments that matter. We are grateful to partner with organizations and volunteers who make nights like this possible.
