The Arlington County Sheriff’s Office had a full and rewarding weekend connecting with the community. Deputies kicked off Saturday at the annual Feel the Heritage Festival, where they engaged residents with Arlington Black History trivia, sparking great conversations and celebrating the rich history that shapes our community.
Later that evening, the team headed to Wakefield High School for Amateur Boxing Night, continuing their outreach efforts in a lively and energetic setting. ACSO’s Wellness K-9 Hope was a true crowd favorite throughout the day – packing her own kind of “punch” with smiles, comfort, and plenty of photo requests from attendees of all ages. Events like these reflect our ongoing commitment to building relationships and strengthening trust beyond the walls of the courthouse and detention facility.
