The Petersburg Sheriff’s Office is proud to share that Sheriff Vanessa Crawford participated in a ride along on Friday, March 27, 2026, with one of her deputies to deliver meals to senior citizens facing food insecurity.
This initiative was conducted in partnership with Feed More, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing nourishment and support to individuals and families in need throughout the region.
During the ride-along, Sheriff Crawford personally delivered meals to seniors, reinforcing the agency’s commitment to community engagement and service beyond traditional law enforcement duties. The effort highlights the importance of supporting vulnerable populations and ensuring that no member of the community is overlooked.
