Richmond City Sheriff Dr. Antionette V. Irving recently joined residents, civic leaders and community partners for a Critical Community Conversations forum hosted by New Life Deliverance Tabernacle Church.
During the forum, Sheriff Irving emphasized the importance of moving beyond conversation to develop solutions for communities experiencing high crime and poverty. She discussed the need to connect neighborhoods and young people with resources that can help strengthen and support families.
Participants also discussed community safety, youth support and access to essential resources, with speakers highlighting the value of working together to address neighborhood concerns and ensure residents’ voices are heard.
New Life Deliverance Tabernacle Church plans to continue hosting the forums to encourage open dialogue, community connection and collaborative solutions.
