The 2nd Academy Session kicked off strong, and Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office recruits wasted no time getting a taste of what the next 20 weeks will bring. It’s tough, it’s demanding, and it’s designed to test their strength, endurance, and teamwork from the very start.
Over the weeks ahead, recruits will train in interpersonal communication, defensive tactics, firearms, emergency vehicle operation, the law, first aid, and much more.
They’ve got a long road ahead, but every rep, every run, and every challenge gets them one step closer to earning the badge. We wish them luck as they learn what it truly takes to serve and protect our community.
Sheriff Dave Rosado had the honor of presenting a congratulatory letter to Damien Alexander Reitz for achieving the distinguished rank of Eagle Scout.
Earning Eagle Scout is one of the highest accomplishments in the Scouts BSA program and reflects Damien’s character.
We are proud to recognize his achievements and wish him continued success in this next chapter of his journey.
