On Saturday, January 24th, the Richmond City Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) Community Safety & Wellness with Food Distribution event kicked off the new year with incredible momentum as cars lined up in the early morning of the start of the cold winter snowstorm, stretching down the road in anticipation. Residents showed up in full force, creating a steady, upbeat flow of traffic throughout the morning.
Deputies and volunteers moved with purpose and enthusiasm, loading vehicles with food, sharing safety resources, and connecting with families who rely on these vital services. The energy was contagious — a true display of community spirit and teamwork.
The strong turnout underscored just how much these events matter. RCSO remains committed to supporting local families and building a safer, healthier community, one event at a time.
