On Saturday, March 28th, the Roanoke County Sheriff’s Office had a great turnout for the 3rd annual Roanoke County Easter EGG-stravaganza at Green Hill Park. This is an event we do in collaboration with the Roanoke County Police Department, Roanoke County Fire and EMS, as well as other Roanoke County Agencies. A helicopter came through and dropped over 1000 eggs while we put out another 13,000 on the ground.
This event has had a great turnout since its inception three years ago. Seeing all the children having fun and hunting eggs makes community outreach one of the best things we can provide.
