The Petersburg Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with Petersburg TRIAD, recently sponsored Senior Day at the Petersburg Public Library.
This year’s celebration featured a fun and energetic 1970s theme, bringing together seniors from throughout the community for an afternoon filled with music, fellowship, food, entertainment, and community engagement. Attendees embraced the theme with colorful attire and enjoyed activities designed to promote social interaction, wellness, and positive community connections.
“Our senior citizens are an important part of our community, and events like this allow us the opportunity to celebrate and honor them,” said Sheriff Vanessa R. Crawford. “We are grateful for the continued partnership with Petersburg TRIAD and everyone who helped make this event memorable for our seniors.”
