The Arlington County Sheriff’s Office was proud to host law enforcement agencies and community partners from across Northern Virginia in support of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Virginia. ACSO staff participated alongside the Arlington County Police Department, Falls Church Police Department, Virginia State Police, Pentagon Force Protection Agency, and other local partners as the Flame of Hope made its journey from Arlington to Richmond.
The Law Enforcement Torch Run is Special Olympics Virginia’s largest public awareness and fundraising movement, uniting law enforcement across Virginia in support of athletes with intellectual disabilities. Through fundraising events, community engagement, and the annual torch run, the law enforcement community helps promote inclusion, acceptance, and opportunities for Special Olympics athletes to compete and thrive.
The Arlington County Sheriff’s Office is honored to support this meaningful tradition and the inspiring athletes of Special Olympics Virginia. We thank everyone who participated and helped carry the Flame of Hope forward.
