Martinsville Deputy Sheryl Jones Honored

Deputy Sheryl Jones was the recent recipient of the Martinsville Exchange Club’s “Outstanding Officer of the Year for 2008” award and was honored with a dinner at The Dutch Inn of Martinsville on Thursday, October 16, 2008. 

She was selected for her hard work and commitment to the Martinsville Sheriff’s Office.  She is always willing to go beyond her normal work assignment to assist the office in any way.  Deputy Jones has been with the Martinsville Sheriff’s Office since February 2006 as a Corrections Officer.
