The American Flag is the most visible symbol of freedom and democracy in the United States of America. As Sheriff of the City of Danville, I am proud to announce that all Danville Sheriff’s Office uniforms will soon display a patch of the American Flag. I would like to recognize and thank the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 647, Danville for donating the patches.
Also recently, the American Legion Post 1097 donated funds to enable the Danville Sheriff’s Office to put American Flag decals on all vehicles in the fleet.
