Tyler’s mother Deborah, is a Lieutenant with Virginia Tech Police Department. Tyler will be attending Ferrum College. Derek Lau is pictured with Sheriff Whitt and Derek’s parents. His father Scott Lau is a Lieutenant with Virginia Tech Police Department and his mother Sherri Lau is a Deputy Clerk for the Montgomery County District Court. Derek will be attending Radford University.
