Hampton deputies volunteer for senior shopping

Sheriff B.J. Roberts sponsored the Hampton Sheriff’s Office’s 17th annual shopping trip for senior citizens. Many seniors don’t have transportation and are uncomfortable shopping alone during the busy holiday season. A fundraising record! On December 13, 2016, the Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office raised a record $15,000 at its ‘3rd Annual Dancing with the Athletes’ competition.
