Wythe County Sheriff Keith Dunagan recently presented Taylor Jones with the Virginia Sheriffs’ Institute college scholarship. Ms. Jones was also the recipient of the $1,000 scholarship from the Cliff Dicker Memorial Scholarship Fund in honor of Deputy Dicker who was shot and killed by a 14-year-old juvenile he was trying to arrest in December 1994.
