On Sunday, February 17, 2019, Sgt. J. P. Nolen gave a church safety seminar at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Rocky Mount. The presentation included elements of how to better secure the church and ways to protect congregants. Pastor Anthony Adams and staff asked questions and gave comments. Thanks to all who helped make this evening very informative.
FRANKLIN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE WORKS WITH ROANOKE CITY PD TO MAKE ARREST
Report of a stolen BBQ Smoker lead Franklin County Deputies to follow the case all the way into Roanoke City. With the help of Roanoke City PD, the BBQ cooker was located at the residence of Greg Kasey. A search warrant was issued and the cooker, illegal drugs and U. S. currency were all recovered.
