Sheriff Joe McLaughlin presented Ms. Mia Bashore with a Virginia Sheriffs’ Institute Scholarship Award this morning. Ms. Bashore is a New Kent resident and she is attending Rappahannock Community College. Mia is working toward a Criminal Justice related degree. Congratulations to Mia Bashore on receiving the $1000 VSI scholarship.
