Chesterfield Sheriff’s Office Raises Awareness for Breast Cancer

Every October, the Chesterfield Sheriff’s Office joins millions around the nation in showing support for those fighting breast cancer. The sheriff’s office honors those affected by breast cancer by lighting the courthouse in pink. The fight against breast cancer is one of the sheriff’s office’s biggest causes, as it has personally touched the Chesterfield Sheriff’s Office family as well as many in our community. In addition to this illumination, which will last throughout the month, deputies are also wearing pink badges purchased with their own money, with a portion of the proceeds going towards cancer research.
