Distracted driving doesn’t always mean you are on your cell phone. Here are just a few examples of distracted driving:

  • Changing the radio stations or volume
  • Adjusting the heat or AC
  • Looking for something you dropped in the floorboard
  • Turning around to speak to a backseat passenger
  • Applying makeup

Any action that takes your eyes off the highway and diverts your attention from operating your motor vehicle is considered “Distracted Driving.”
