On Saturday, September 11th, the Rocky Mount Fire Department held a memorial walk from their location on North Main Street to their second location on Floyd Avenue.
The walk was to commemorate the fire fighters who last their lives in the 911 event in New York City 20 years ago.
The event drew dozens of fire department members and local law enforcement representatives.
We thanks RMFD for organizing this event, Rocky Mount PD and all those who had a part in this most somber memorial.
