City of Falls Church Sheriff’s Office –The City of Falls Church Sheriff’s Office explosives detection canine team of K-9 Deputy, Sgt. Andrew Verdon and his K-9 partner “Umar” received the Department of Justice, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) national certification for odor recognition in October.
