On December 20, 2023, the Petersburg Sheriff’s Office, the Petersburg Kiwanis and the Petersburg High School Key Club distributed the toys, coats and bicycles to over 200 children for the 2023 Petersburg Sheriff’s Office and Kiwanis Holiday Toy & Coat Drive.
Each year, brand new toys and coats are provided for over 200 children with many of then receiving bikes.The Holiday Toy and Coat Drive has brought joy and cheer to well over 200 needy children in the Petersburg community on an annual basis. It was a heartwarming opportunity to see the joy and smiles on the kids’ faces when they received the gifts and bikes, as the volunteers witnessed the heartwarming gleams of gratefulness and appreciation of the parents as they received the gifts.
