KEEP LAWN CLIPPINGS OFF OUR HIGHWAYS

Franklin County Sheriff’s Office advises all residents to please keep grass clippings out of the roadways. It is dangerous to cyclists, and it is against the law. Be thoughtful, be smart and keep your grass clippings from entering the highway.

RESPONSIBLE RIDING IS AS IMPORTANT AS RESPONSIBLE DRIVING

When there are multiple passengers, the crash risk is three to five times greater than when someone is driving alone. Passengers can be considered a distraction in the vehicle, especially when they engage in activities that divert the driver’s attention from the road. Be a responsible rider and keep the mayhem to a minimum!

ARRIVE ALIVE-NO DISTACTIONS The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office reminded all drivers that their text can wait. Don’t drive distracted. Please don’t text and drive, put your phone away while on our highways. Come home safe to your families
