The King George Sheriff’s Office was honored to participate in the King George YMCA Bright Beginnings program on Aug 3rd and Aug 5th joining fellow county employees and volunteers to include King George Cheer Squad to help local children prepare for the upcoming school year!
Together, we had the privilege of shopping with over 90 students at the King George Walmart, helping them pick out essentials they need to start the year with confidence.
Programs like Bright Beginnings demonstrate what can be accomplished when a community comes together to invest in its children.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the King George YMCA, King George Walmart, King George Cheer Squad, and every volunteer who helped make this meaningful event possible.
We wish all of our students a safe, successful, and exciting school year!
