Hampton Sheriff Karen Bowden and the Hampton Sheriff’s Office took the plunge for a great cause last weekend, participating in the Special Olympics Polar Plunge and raising an impressive $1,215!
These funds will help provide year-round sports training, competitions, leadership opportunities, and health services to more than 23,000 athletes with disabilities.
Deputies who braved the icy waters at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront included Lt. B. Moore, Lt. C. Hargraves, Deputy H. Richardson, Deputy J. Johnson, and Deputy E. Hall.
