The Bristol Virginia Sheriff’s Office recently conducted its annual DARE Graduation at Virginia Intermediate School. Sheriff Tyrone Foster offered words of encouragement to more than 150 fifth-grade students. The event was attended by school board members, Police Chief Byron Ashbrook, and our very own State Delegate Israel O’Quinn, who delivered the commencement speech. Diplomas were presented to each graduate, along with awards for the top winners of the DARE Essay Contest.
