The Roanoke County Sheriff’s Office is happy to announce the introduction to our newest member – K9 Liberty!
Liberty, or ‘Libby’ is a rescue doodle who immediately impressed us with her polite demeanor. As part of our first responder mental health awareness initiatives, Liberty will soon begin formal training as a therapy dog. When she’s not busy working with our staff, Libby is also beginning training for community outreach and spreading smiles. That means in the meantime, Liberty is looking forward to socialization and desensitization experiences with the Roanoke Valley Community.
